Harold Humberto Pineda

Harold is external counsel to the tax practice at AP Lawyers. He is an attorney from Universidad Externado de Colombia, a specialist in Tax Law from Pontificia Universidad Javeriana and a specialist in Public Finance from the Escuela Superior de Administración Pública, and he is currently a candidate for a Master in Tax Law at Universidad Externado de Colombia.

He brings more than five years of professional practice in law firms and in tax advisory work for companies. His practice centres on written opinions covering income tax, VAT, consumption tax, stamp duty, wealth tax and local taxes, and on the technical defence of the taxpayer before the DIAN and municipal tax offices.

Alongside tax, he works in corporate law, contracts, consumer protection, litigation and industrial property, backed by early training in legal research and sociology of law.
